John Momeyer supports Compass clients with over 35 years of experience in the banking industry. For most of the past two decades, he has worked exclusively with dozens of Castle Creek investments on transformational projects, including major engagements at PacWest Bancorp, Origin Bancorp, and The Bancorp.

Mr. Momeyer's direct industry experience is both broad and deep, including building systems and products from ideation through implementation, running a technology service business that supported 25 different banks, and serving as CFO of a bank holding company. A common theme across his experiences is a track record of delivering long-term, sustainable operating improvement. Mr. Momeyer began his career at Monarch Bank, one of the first California investments made by Castle Creek Capital.

Mr. Momeyer specializes in technology cost analysis, contract negotiation, system and product conversions, and branch and back-office staffing analysis. He has a strong track record of driving sustainable operating performance improvement for Castle Creek portfolio banks, supporting dozens of engagements focused on bank integrations, core system conversions, and core system vendor negotiations.

Mr. Momeyer studied Business, Accounting, and Technology at Saddleback College.
